Exploring Wetlands, from Lakeshore to Summit

May 20, 11:00 am - 11:45 am

Free
Explore wetlands, why they're important, and where they exist in Vermont.

Wetlands are hotspots for plant and animal life. VLT ecologist Allaire Diamond will teach us about the importance of wetlands, and lead us through a virtual tour of Vermont’s wetlands, from those near Mount Mansfield’s summit to those along Lake Champlain.

This webinar is designed for students, grades 4-12, teachers, families, and anyone interested in the natural world. You’ll both expand your vocabulary and grow your appreciation for these soggy places.

All are welcome to this free webinar. Space is limited; please pre-register today.

The Vermont Land Trust welcomes and affirms all people regardless of their age, culture, abilities, ethnic origin, gender, gender identity, marital status, nationality, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.

Please contact Angie with questions and reasonable accommodations.
