POSTPONED: Connecting to Nature Book Club
March 24, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pmFree
Please stay tuned for further details. We are currently looking to reschedule for late summer or fall.
Vermonters benefit from and interact with the state’s natural resources in so many different ways, and we want to talk about it.
In partnership, Vermont Fish & Wildlife is offering the “Connecting to Nature Book Club.” The event is free, but registration is limited.
The first 20 registrants will receive a copy of the book for discussion. [Register here.] Pick up your book at the VT Fish & Wildlife Essex Regional Office during business hours (111 West Street, Essex Junction; 878-1564).
At the first meeting on March 24, we’ll discuss Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass. Be sure to register, pick up your book, and read as much as you can for a meaningful conversation.
At next month’s meeting on April 28, we’ll discuss A Sand County Almanac by Aldo Leopold.
There will be three book club meetings. Details will be published as we finalize them.
Please direct any questions or accessibility requests to VT F&W Education Manager Alison Thomas: firstname.lastname@example.org.
This event is cohosted by Vermont Land Trust; The Nature Conservancy; VT Forests, Parks, & Recreation; Vermont Woodlands Association; VT FWD; USFWS; VT Coverts; High Meadow Fund; and Audubon Vermont.
