Karen and Chuda with goats

Please join the Vermont Land Trust and the many friends of Karen Freudenberger in celebrating and honoring Karen’s life spent energetically and warmly in the service of others.

Beyond serving as farm manager, Karen conceived of what has become the thriving Pine Island Community Farm that produces goats, chickens, vegetables, and honey for the Burlington-area New American community. The farm is also a cultural gathering place for the community.
