Several thousand individuals professionals and volunteers alike are working from kitchen tables, community centers, and offices in every corner of Vermont to protect the beautiful state we call home. The Vermont Land Trust salutes each of you who collectively make up one of the most powerful conservation forces in the country. We salute our active members whose commitment and support are the bedrock of our organization. We applaud the dedication of our Board of Trustees and the volunteers on our regional advisory committees who provide direction in the Mountain Valley, Mettowee Valley, and Southwest Vermont. We praise the efforts of the many individuals who serve on town conservation commissions and regional commissions throughout the state; and town diligently working to conserve natural resources in their communities. The following is a list of organizations actively working on land conservation in Vermont, many of whom often work in partnership with the Vermont Land Trust. While this list does not claim to include all conservation groups in the state, it does represent the breadth of people striving to protect Vermonts natural beauty and rural landscape. The Vermont Land Trust is a partner with many, if not all, of these organizations to some degree. The Land Trust Alliance Vermont Housing and Conservation Coalition | ||
