Lands Important to Local Communities

Many local communities have a strong attachment to a particular piece of land. This may be the local swimming hole, the hay meadow where kids fly kites, a trail that leads to a local vantage point on top of a hill, or the local ballfield that’s on private land rather than public land. Whatever the case, VLT recognizes that these are important and desires to help communities conserve these lands.
